back on schedule

-ok the past couple of days have been a little busy
-shit load of homework and i had to go view movies for religion and wen i got home did homework
-didn't get any riding time at all
-but today things are back to normal and i just got back from a little session
-i don't know if i've said this already but my bike feels dialed right now
-everything feels perfect on that
-my posture is up right because of the 38c tire in the front and 28c in the back
-i love this setup
-all my tricks felt good, landed almost everything, learned a couple of things
-even tried to do 180s for a bit (wasn't in my clips...)
-damn who knew an hour of tricking after 4 days of non tricking can really do a number on your back
-also, the tv show chuck is the coolest show right now, i've been watching episodes on hulu till 1 in the morning (on school days) for the past 3 days

-so maybe you know, maybe you don't, but profile has upped this shit for the fixed gear market and i am excited
-terry told me a couple of months ago about profile re-designing their axles on their hubs and they introduced them last week at interbike

-they also introduced a couple of things for the drivetrain
-a new splined spider and sprocket, and a 144bcd chainring for the spider
-this is amazing
-def going to switch out my we the people setup for profiles and i am thinking of running a smaller gearing

-hold fast is really killing it right now too
-new design out from interbike
-looks so much better than my pair
-gonna have to get a new pair of these soon
-hold fast as been by far my favorite strap system ever
-i have no complaints what so ever about them
-i can actually get in my clips without having to reach down with my hands like i had to do when willie and i made our diy feetbelts
-my feet slid in as quick as i need them too
-easy to bail out
-even the "buckle problem" isn't that big of a deal
-i mean, man up eventually you don't even fell the buckles digging in your feet, it jsut takes time to get use to
-hold fast were the first of their strap system
-don't support or follow any other type of sytem
-like prolly once said "the first, the best, fuck the rest"
-i be spending to much money O.o

-mishka came out with another jacket that i really want
-but that 200 dollar price tag is killing it for me =(
-http://www.mishkanyc.com/item/spetsnaz-mark-iii-jacket--black

-talked to christina today about how fucked up my shoes are and how i need a new pair
-i agree, i've had my vans chukkas since april
-they've basically been through two seasons going on three
-taken up from abuse of riding, daily use, and all that damn walking i did in london
-the shits are still holding up great and comfy as hell
-granted a couple of weeks ago i tore off the side layer on both my shoes, and the left is slightly ripped on the side
-check up on prollys blog, and the nike air zoom tiempo is re-releasing and i am def going to get a pair
-really digging the london color, black and green

-another option is the dc tactic mid bmx shoes i saw on a dans comp magazine
has a lot of cushioning everywhere
-internal lace loops to secure your shoelaces
-and some special pattern for grip on the bottom
-might work for fixed gear tricking too?

-gnarcotix has been busy
-check out the blog gnarcotix.com
-more pics and what not there
-feels like i havent seen any of these guys in a while
-damn school keeping me busy
-carl, lets ride this weekend?
-locked cog edit
-henry ho yet again killing it this time with a 180 full cab bar

not. a summer edit. from Kris *lockedcog* on Vimeo.
