back on schedule
-ok the past couple of days have been a little busy
-shit load of homework and i had to go view movies for religion and wen i got home did homework
-didn't get any riding time at all
-but today things are back to normal and i just got back from a little session
-i don't know if i've said this already but my bike feels dialed right now
-everything feels perfect on that
-my posture is up right because of the 38c tire in the front and 28c in the back
-i love this setup
-all my tricks felt good, landed almost everything, learned a couple of things
-even tried to do 180s for a bit (wasn't in my clips...)
-damn who knew an hour of tricking after 4 days of non tricking can really do a number on your back
-also, the tv show chuck is the coolest show right now, i've been watching episodes on hulu till 1 in the morning (on school days) for the past 3 days
-so maybe you know, maybe you don't, but profile has upped this shit for the fixed gear market and i am excited
-terry told me a couple of months ago about profile re-designing their axles on their hubs and they introduced them last week at interbike
-they also introduced a couple of things for the drivetrain
-a new splined spider and sprocket, and a 144bcd chainring for the spider
-this is amazing
-def going to switch out my we the people setup for profiles and i am thinking of running a smaller gearing
-hold fast is really killing it right now too
-new design out from interbike
-looks so much better than my pair
-gonna have to get a new pair of these soon
-hold fast as been by far my favorite strap system ever
-i have no complaints what so ever about them
-i can actually get in my clips without having to reach down with my hands like i had to do when willie and i made our diy feetbelts
-my feet slid in as quick as i need them too
-easy to bail out
-even the "buckle problem" isn't that big of a deal

has a lot of cushioning everywhere
-internal lace loops to secure your shoelaces
-and some special pattern for grip on the bottom

this is going to be fun
-alright kiddies, its a normal monday what a shock
-but today, after school i had to come back to view a movie for ethics
-we got to eat pizza which was two dollars a slice
-yes, a shit storm is about to brew up
-let me fill you in about this movie
-so basically three white guys (of course) embarked on a vacation to malaysia for alcohol, hash (yes hash), fucking cheap azn whores, and...basically being three white dudes with a load of cash to spend
-two of the guys, tony and sheriff, eventually head back to new york
-and the third guy gets arrested for having way to much hash to the point that he is considered a drug dealer
-so he serves three years in prison
-but later you find out hes going to get hang cuz, you know malaysians are mean people
-the only way he gets out of the death sentence is if tony and sheriff agree to go back and serve 3 years each or 6 years for one guy
-then some women named beth is going around trying to convince tony and sheriff to go back
-she has 6 days to convince them
-and on top of that she has a black journalist women trying to get a story out of her
-that journalist's name was mj, i shit you not, MJ
-mj presses so hard to get the story publish, but beth knows that if she did the malaysians would not take to kindly to criticism
-beth tries her hardest to convince them to go back and i mean she tries hard
-yes, she fucked sheriff
-eventually they both agree to go but when they get there tony realizes that he's not an idiot and decides to cutty the fuck out of there
-they also found out that beth is lou's sister
-sheriff decides to stay
-so in court sheriff comes back and the judge is all like "o , hey you have courage, ill lessen ur sentence, let's go take a break first"
-yay happy ending right?
-WRONG
-remeber mj?well that stupid bitch wrote the story anyway and it got a lot of attention
-and of course the judge gets a copy before he makes his decision (you know, cool that shit totally happens, its called karma)
-he gets pisses decides to execute the third guy (i forgot to mention his name but its lou) and sheriff gets sent to jail
-so yea lou gets hung, but sheriff was agreed to let go after all the publicity dies down
-WHAT? he got off easily, and lou, the totally innocent, "i am going to save animals" guy gets hung
-and yea sheriff and beth love each other blah blah blah
-ok yes, it was a sad movie
-but what the fuck
-i sat for 2 hours watching some stupid movie that had the most obvious plot
-and the innocent guy gets hung, like wtf he got hung anyway after all that bullshit they went through
-but these are the ten things that were going on in my mind or what i learned today from this experience
-one, never buy such a huge quantity of hash that it qualifies you to be a drug dealer
-or be cutty with that shit, nig nog i know you still on vacation but the cops will get yo ass
-second, a man will do anything a woman ask for if they get to sleep with her
-third, a woman will sleep with you because they need something

-sautrday
-mostly chilled all day
-summer's birthday party at night
-cops broke it up, had to go back to get my keys
-got a ride home and then sleep

not the best day for me today
-today karma totally kicked my ass
-first i got to school later than usual and upon rushing i forgot my keys
-so since i had no keys i couldn't lock my bike up
-i had to make that shit cutty, and placed my lock between my seat tube and rear wheel
-lean it against the bike rack and hope to god no one steals my shit
-imagine me all day, nervous about my bike
-i even checked up on it during recess, thank god for the gates the school has for the garage
-and no my bike did not get jacked
-this wasn't even the worst part
-as i get to leave, i some how saw a piece of my tire ripped open
-i could literally see the tube, and when i looked at the tire itself, it was rolled off
-this was on my front tire, how the fuck did i get a roll off in the front?
-had to take out the air and then WALK ALL THE FUCKING WAY HOME with my bike and my heavy backpack with all my shit
-so weak
-fxyation tires is def not living up to its hype
-anti pinch flats? pssh ive gotten 4 in the first 3 days of riding on them
-and now im getting roll offs in the front?
-got home and changed the tire out with my 38c then had to walk down to nomad cyclery to pump my tire up
-i should get a pump
-during this time, karma did little things like make it difficult to put my tire on, hit my hand on the door, trip over shit, etc
-it was bullshit
-but on a side note, riding with a bigger tire in the front and smaller on the rear feels really smooth
-it feels more softer when i land
-did this last night
-took way too long then it should
-i had to replace it 8 times till i was happy with it
-a day and its already scratched up and the paint is chipped on the blue but it looks ill, looks like an abused child...
-put up last night but i was too lazy to post
-japanese riders are light years ahead of us in tricks, the shit they do is just crazy

-i tried so many different shit like hopping curbs, and little small gaps and shit
-also rode the driveway to fakie for fun

-not such a good idea but it was fun and had me practice whip skids
-damn, its really come to the day where i started real riding...for fun

long weekend
-damn, you know i had a good weekend when i don't have the time to post until sunday morning before i do homework
-lots of riding was done
-heres a recap
saturday
-met up with carl and karl at carl's apartment after school on friday
-really hot day so we didn't leave the apartment until 5 or 6ish
-mostly messed around took pics and what not
-rich, sean, and ryan came by then we headed out
-rode around different spots
-at one point carl called robert to see where he was, the convo went something like this
-carl - hey where you a t
robert - i'm in tahoe, horse back riding
carl - wtf, you cant 180 a horse
-by far the funniest thing i heard that day
-carl and i were discussing on friday weekly meetups at civic center
-something kinda like peel sessions, but we're calling it civic sessions, more info later
-then headed to the chrome store for another party
-we didn't even go in, there was so many people
-and then the cops broke that shit up
-then we all headed back to carl's apartment because he was throwing a party
-rich and i dipped early to the island for a bit
-then back to his house and i slept over
-according to jensen and ryan, someone got shot across the street from the island, or the street next to taylors
-o.O
-my new brusier and karl's new leader trick star
-i dunno why we were all taking pics of this chain whip, i think we were having a competition
-trick star frame, lightest trick bike i've ever seen
-civic sessions?
-little karl
-thomas met up with us at some point, then cutty bounced somewhere else
-bart
saturday
-woke up, sore as hell
-after breakfast and some laziness rich and i rode back to my house
-then down to haight to meet theo and miles for a quick sec
-and then to the island
-met up with taylor, ryan, and jensen
-locked cog crew came by too
-carl and karl came, left after a while to ride spots
-went down to the new ucsf campus to the "fixed gear park"
-that place is sick, lots of ghetto banks, transitions, and a wedge
-went to subway after for dinner, and met up with ryan and jensen again
-messed around for a while at the subway
-mostly making fun of taylor, which was funny
-at the end taylor picked up karl and started swinging him around
-if you know how tall taylor is and how tall karl is, you know how funny it would've been to see that
-everyone went their ways after a while and rich and i dipped to the island yet again
-some cracked out homeless guy looked like he wanted to rape/murder me so we dipped
-rich's dog straight up posting, funny thing is she doesn't sleep on the blanket for her
-ucsf
-ghetto bank thing

mke brusier
-i was able to get some riding done with the new bike today
-not as much as i had hoped for but enough to say that this is probably the sickest ride ever
-this bikes just wants to be off the ground
-it seriously made me want to hop everything
-plus it doesn't make any noises at all
-i will give a full on review hopefully by this weekend once i get enough hours on it
-changing up my setup (again "/) makes the bike feel different so its going to take some time to get use to
-at first glance, this bike looks and seems really small, but in reality it really isn't
-i am about 5"9 - 5"10 and this fits me way nicer than a medium
-not to mention, it has the greatest clearance despite it being really small
-with that sessions 28c tire, i am able to clear at almost all angles, and and yes even with my cranks full horizontal, i can still clear
-and on a side note these session tires are awesome too
-really grippy, i love the feel and it sounds like an rc car when i skid
-edit: aside from riding my new bike today, i hung out with miles and ck
-fun times
-found out there is a really yummy vietnamese sandwich shop on iriving that i am about to go everyday after school
one to many spacers, will fix tat sooner or later
-i wish the session tires were 38c, then i would be off the self crazy
