chode/mke/swine flu

today in art class, cody spent the whole 45 min period cutting out letters for his name to paste on a little piece of blue paper. it took john 10 secs to rearrange it to say chode. lol

here's some old pics of mkes. i dont have much to say today... photos from prolly's flickr

one more thing regarding the swine flu epidemic...can people stfu about it? i'm not one to complain (yes i am), but people (you know who you are) are just being bitches about it. ok it's bad, but if i could go a day without hearing "omg, you have swine flu" or "give me the hand sanitizer, i'm going to get swine flu" and etc, i'd die a happy kid. seriously, just take care of yourselfs, don't be a grimey muthafucka, wash yo hands, do what you normally do to avoid getting sick, and you should be fine. jeeezzz!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! cheers

I will post details and updates as things progress, and this should be a really fun race.

Hello everyone,

I would just like to let everyone know that I am throwing an alleycat for the Cycles of Change in Alameda. If you dont know what Cycles is, its an awesome organization in Alameda that enables many youth to take part in their community.

It's going to be a great event with alot of fun checkpoints. The start is at the Edoff Memorial Bandstand off of Belvue ave. in Oakland (yes, where the Oakland Scrape started last year). The finish will be in Alameda at Cycles of Change with a BBQ!!

Come out and support a great organization.

Open to everyone.

totally intense tuesdays

this post is dedicated to sean magee, cuz he was eager for me to update my blog haha. anyways, normal day at school. check out the pics of art class i took and laura hobbs' bike. got home and hopped on my bike, kianu and i had adjusted my seat on sunday so it would be easier to pop up. so, today i tried wheelies, and im excited to say i was able to wheelie one handed, for 3 crank rotations! this is a big achievement for me since i'm wheelie-retarded. from now on, instead of doing multiple posts, when i find something interesting, im just gonna edit the post and add it to make one big post. so be sure to check my blog for updates!

my pieter mondriaan styled piece. looks simple but it was a bitch to cut th0se lines and get them straight. not to mention i had to measure the squares and shit.

cody's (aka code red) tower. the path way with the broken bits of colorful glass is real nice

laura hobbs' single speed/fixed gear bike. the only girl, let alone the only other person who rides a fixed gear bike that i know of, beside me at si (not counting the other seniors who do). she knows how to lock up her bike (most expensive wheel and frame), so i give props! is it creepy that i included her bike in my blog, yet i've never talked to her in my life?

for my mke bruiser, i am going to order it in this color, a metallic turqoise. imo, it looks sick! this one belongs to tdhk from the trick track forum, http://www.tricktrack.org/forums/viewtopic.php?t=1008&start=80 ugh, my volume cutter is already too small for me and i also found out through riding this frame, that i need a longer tt. hence the switch to mke. i feel so scrunched up on my cutter...

i've always been a fan of wonka. this kid has mad skills on a fixed gear. really siked to see more from him. pics taken by prolly
whatcha know about this hop barspin on a 3 set

wall rides...insane

last but not least, help me decided on which color wesc headphones i should get. i'm leaning towards the black and gold, cuz carl and sean already have the white ones. hurry, i wanna order them tonight! these are sick btw, cuz if you have the ipod shuffle (the last generation before these stupid new ones) you can attach it to these on the side and run the chord along the side also, so they look like they're wireless...for barspins...

this is sick, not to mention how rainer fucking owned everyone!

sorry si

but i have to do this. here's a mass email that was sent out about a bake sale tomorrow after school.

"Hey SI,

There will be a bake sale held tomorrow after school in the Student Center. The money raised will go to support Share Our Strength's Great American Bake Sale Campaign to end child hunger in America. Come get a snack before practice and do your part to end world hunger. Thanks!"

what i read was...come buy some food to eat so we can get money for other people food. why don't you either, send that food to people who need it more or just take my money and do whatever you guys want, like you usually do. i know that sounded confusing, but just think about it.

today was the more hecktic, stressful, and nerve-racking day. i'm sorry, but i will not be sharing this day on my blog or anyone, for that matter. all i want to say is, thank you to everyone who tried to help me today. especially to three people: ; zain for walking me through this day; thomas for being so supportative and helpful; Christina's mom for truely understanding what i am going through, when i thought there was no one

i've also decided, that i want to purchase the mke bruiser. when the time is right, i will get it

oh yeah, and this...i am speechless

some dude's house in ggp.

i keep telling ppl to go eat at people's cafe cuz they have the best food. rich and john loved the food.

carl was getting real gnar today.

if you are a regular island rider, you know this dude is good. i keep forgetting his name, but he's the best in the world or something at flatland bmx.
