differnt things

-rode around today but tried some different things
-instead of riding in the park area like i usually do, i went down to 29th and lawton and rode ont he street
-i tried so many different shit like hopping curbs, and little small gaps and shit
-also rode the driveway to fakie for fun
-then i decide to do tricks in my clips
-what a fun day (sarcasm)
-also decided to bomb noriega starting from the very top
-not such a good idea but it was fun and had me practice whip skids
-damn, its really come to the day where i started real riding...for fun
-this bike is awesome, all i need is a new pair of chukkers and i have myself a dialed bike
-basically what it looks like since last tuesday

long weekend

-damn, you know i had a good weekend when i don't have the time to post until sunday morning before i do homework
-lots of riding was done
-heres a recap

saturday
-met up with carl and karl at carl's apartment after school on friday
-really hot day so we didn't leave the apartment until 5 or 6ish
-mostly messed around took pics and what not
-rich, sean, and ryan came by then we headed out
-rode around different spots
-at one point carl called robert to see where he was, the convo went something like this
-carl - hey where you a t
robert - i'm in tahoe, horse back riding
carl - wtf, you cant 180 a horse
-by far the funniest thing i heard that day
-carl and i were discussing on friday weekly meetups at civic center
-something kinda like peel sessions, but we're calling it civic sessions, more info later
-then headed to the chrome store for another party
-we didn't even go in, there was so many people
-and then the cops broke that shit up
-then we all headed back to carl's apartment because he was throwing a party
-rich and i dipped early to the island for a bit
-then back to his house and i slept over
-according to jensen and ryan, someone got shot across the street from the island, or the street next to taylors

saturday
-woke up, sore as hell
-after breakfast and some laziness rich and i rode back to my house
-then down to haight to meet theo and miles for a quick sec
-and then to the island
-met up with taylor, ryan, and jensen
-locked cog crew came by too
-carl and karl came, left after a while to ride spots
-went down to the new ucsf campus to the "fixed gear park"
-that place is sick, lots of ghetto banks, transitions, and a wedge
-went to subway after for dinner, and met up with ryan and jensen again
-messed around for a while at the subway
-mostly making fun of taylor, which was funny
-at the end taylor picked up karl and started swinging him around
-if you know how tall taylor is and how tall karl is, you know how funny it would've been to see that
-everyone went their ways after a while and rich and i dipped to the island yet again
-some cracked out homeless guy looked like he wanted to rape/murder me so we dipped

-rich's dog straight up posting, funny thing is she doesn't sleep on the blanket for her

-i was able to get some riding done with the new bike today
-not as much as i had hoped for but enough to say that this is probably the sickest ride ever
-this bikes just wants to be off the ground
-it seriously made me want to hop everything
-plus it doesn't make any noises at all
-i will give a full on review hopefully by this weekend once i get enough hours on it
-changing up my setup (again "/) makes the bike feel different so its going to take some time to get use to
-at first glance, this bike looks and seems really small, but in reality it really isn't
-i am about 5"9 - 5"10 and this fits me way nicer than a medium
-not to mention, it has the greatest clearance despite it being really small
-with that sessions 28c tire, i am able to clear at almost all angles, and and yes even with my cranks full horizontal, i can still clear
-and on a side note these session tires are awesome too
-really grippy, i love the feel and it sounds like an rc car when i skid

-edit: aside from riding my new bike today, i hung out with miles and ck
-fun times
-found out there is a really yummy vietnamese sandwich shop on iriving that i am about to go everyday after school

one to many spacers, will fix tat sooner or later

-i wish the session tires were 38c, then i would be off the self crazy
